Chestnut Ridge Park offers options for a variety of activities.

The Park Office provides a place to warm up
by the woodstove in the wintertime, and cool
off with ice cream in the summertime.
Also available: coffee, tea, hot chocolate,
soda, candy and snacks.		 Hike or bike on wooded trails.




 Picnic in the shade of towering pine trees
within sight of Feather Lake and the play
area. Picnic tables and grills are available
on a first come first serve basis.

Feather Lake provides a great place for the whole
family to enjoy. Play or relax on the sand beach,
swim safely under the watchful eye of the lifeguard.
Take a paddleboat ride, or fish from one of the
provided benches.		 The playground sits conveniently nearby in the
middle of a huge sandbox.



 Fish or just enjoy the quiet beauty of
Harris Lake. Supplies and bait are available for
purchase at the park office
(no license required in the park)

 Slide down the 350 ft. sled hill...or cross country ski on one of the many trails.

Test your skill on the climbing wall or your
knowledge of local flora and fauna in
The Nature Center.
Chestnut Ridge Park Day Use Facilities are open to the public
9:00 am. to 7:00 pm. May through September
9:00 am to 6:00 pm October through April

Pets must be leashed AT ALL times and waste picked up and disposed of properly. Pets that disturb others will be expelled from park.
